The W Valley provides an added layer of protection by channeling water away from roof panels and directing it down into the gutters. It is installed beneath the metal roof panels at the point where two roof lines meet to form a “valley.”
These pre-formed W Valleys include a built-in diverter that prevents water from rushing beneath the panels on the opposite side while efficiently guiding it off the roof. The trim also features open hems on either edge, which acts as a channel for any water that makes it past the diverter.
For a secure, weather-tight installation, expanding foam closures—such as Emseal—are often used to ensure a tight seal.
